Creators
Are you interested in joining our ranks of esteemed compilation artisans?
Fret not, we’ve automated most, if not all, of the tedious work. Allowing you to relish your newly acquired renown and elevated social status as a compilation artisan without toiling away night after night in a dimly lit room, painstakingly stitching clips together. We’re even training an AI overlord to tirelessly sort clips for all those “I’ve got better shit to do” artisans out there.
Curatorial Standards
- Compilations must have a clear, thematic focus
- Obviously, no illegal content
- No content that is difficult to verify, such as unknown-amateur’s
- Please note, we reserve the right to reject compilations at our discretion
- stashapp/stash - it’s the bee’s knees and a must
- If you’re already running a meticulously organized Stash, you’re poised for a promising future as a virtuoso in the art of compilation creation
- We’re working on streamlining the entire compilation process into a single plugin, so you won’t need to fiddle with modified instances or Userscripts
- Adhere to the format, a compilation is a cohesive video anthology, not a bombastic, seizure-inducing PMV
- You can manually define the clip order or delegate it to the algorithm, however, like a metronome, clips must change at fixed 8-30s intervals
- We’re aiming to offer more artistic latitude down the road, but for now, the timing interval you choose will be applied evenly across all clips
- The baseline requirement is ~200 clips, drawn from roughly ~50 distinct sources
- There’s some leeway here, and exceptions can be made
- For the best results, aim for around 800 clips from ~100 unique sources
- A decent battlestation, as the compilation process is resource-intensive
- For a 7-minute compilation, you’ll need at least 200GiB to handle clip extraction and assembly; it’ll devour a budget SSD lifespan for breakfast
- Transcoding doesn’t have any strict CPU requirements, and you could even use a Raspberry Pi if you’re willing to wait a week per compilation
